Tara Kemp Hilton serves as Supervisor and Trainer, Revenue Enhancement at PMMC, where she leads team development initiatives while helping healthcare organizations maximize reimbursement and improve collections performance. With more than 32 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, she brings deep expertise in medical billing, claims processing, accounts receivable, collections, and payer operations. Her passion for coaching and mentoring others has helped shape the next generation of recovery professionals at PMMC.
Tara’s healthcare career began while attending college, working in a neurologist’s billing office before transitioning to a health insurance company, where she spent 10 years supporting member services and claims operations. After relocating to North Carolina, she continued building her expertise in medical billing, accounts receivable, training, and leadership roles before joining PMMC in 2016 as a Recovery Analyst. Within her first year, she assumed training responsibilities and became the primary trainer for new collectors. Throughout her tenure, Tara has collected millions in revenue for PMMC clients and was recognized as a top collector for three consecutive years. She has also trained more than 30 full-time collectors and numerous interns, many of whom have advanced into leadership and reviewer positions.
Outside of work, Tara enjoys spending time with her husband and family, traveling, reading, and creating lasting memories with loved ones. Her commitment to teamwork, continuous learning, and client success continues to make a lasting impact on both PMMC and its clients.
