In reflecting on my career, the concept of “Grow or Die” resonates strongly. It’s a philosophy I’ve carried through every challenge. This mindset has reshaped how I approach my work, ensuring I focus on what truly drives results. Flexibility in supporting team members has also been a key lesson—meeting them where they are, understanding their motivations, and helping them navigate obstacles. Seeing their growth and being part of that journey is incredibly rewarding. It’s not just about solving problems; it’s about connecting the dots and ensuring others can do the same.
Upon joining PMMC, I saw the company’s rapid growth as a great opportunity for my own development. I made it a priority to quickly get up to speed on healthcare and enterprise software sales so my skills would align with the company’s objectives. The healthcare revenue cycle was complex, but I tackled this challenge by leaning on the expertise of experienced healthcare professionals and sales executives around me. Winning a deal is incredibly fulfilling because it represents the culmination of my efforts and the success of the company. My top priority is always contributing to PMMC’s goals and seeing the direct impact of my work.
My journey at PMMC has been a continuous path of growth, starting as a collector in 2016 and quickly transitioning into training new hires. Drawing from my prior experience in medical billing, I developed essential guides that have proven invaluable for onboarding collectors. In 2022, I became a Pod Lead, training up to two new team members each month while managing my own performance targets. Though this was challenging, it prepared me for my promotion to Supervisor/Trainer of Revenue Enhancement in 2024, where I can better focus on supporting my team. I take pride in helping collectors thrive, encouraging them to prioritize quality and follow established processes.
Throughout my career, adaptability has been my cornerstone, especially in high-demand customer service roles. At PMMC, I’ve harnessed my prior experience as an Executive Assistant to support our leaders and staff as if they were my own ‘customers.’ This perspective drove me to launch innovative initiatives like the Fist Bump Recognition program. While the concept drew from my previous experiences, it’s tailored specifically for PMMC. This program not only emphasizes our core values but also strengthens our workplace culture by empowering colleagues to acknowledge each other’s contributions. A simple gesture like a Fist Bump can transform a challenging day into a positive one, reinforcing a culture where everyone feels valued and motivated.

WE RUN ON EOS
PMMC embraces an Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS) model. Born from the best-selling books “Traction” and “What the Heck is EOS?”, employees read and are trained on PMMC’s EOS model. We use EOS as a guiding force that combines straightforward approaches with ownership at all levels of our organization. This helps increase engagement and teaches our employees how to have an active role in PMMC’s success.

PMMC’s FUN Committee hosts events for our team! From holiday celebrations to wellness initiatives, they do it all. Some of our events include a weekly walking club, Charlotte Knights games, baking competitions, food events, and more!

Our culture supports giving back to our community. Through volunteer events and fundraising, Team PMMC gets involved with many local and national organizations.
