This role supports the planning and delivery of SaaS implementations for small to mid-sized hospital and health system clients across PMMC product lines. The individual will assist in managing the full project lifecycle to ensure implementations are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations. This position requires foundational experience in healthcare revenue cycle workflows and the ability to communicate effectively with clinical and administrative stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Project Delivery
- Manage end-to-end delivery of SaaS implementation projects for hospital rev cycle clients, including discovery, configuration, training, go-live, and post-go-live support phases.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and timelines; proactively monitor progress and escalate risks or blockers to senior PMs or the VP of Operations.
- Coordinate internal resources across data, operations, contracting, and product/development teams to support timely project delivery.
- Learn and apply PMMC’s standard implementation methodology, communication protocols, and best practices across all assigned projects.
Client Engagement
- Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned hospital clients throughout the implementation lifecycle, building trust and ensuring alignment with client goals.
- Facilitate regular status meetings, prepare weekly progress updates, and deliver executive-level and working-level reports for internal stakeholders and client leadership.
- Navigate relationships within hospital environments, engaging appropriately with revenue cycle directors, billing staff, and C-suite representatives.
Revenue & Forecasting
- Learn PMMC’s revenue forecasting approach, developing the ability to accurately project revenue achievement based on implementation milestone data.
- Support accurate forecasting of project-based revenue recognition in collaboration with finance and senior team members.
PMO Operations & Tooling
- Become proficient in Wrike project management software and other tools used in PMMC implementations.
- Support maintenance of PMO documentation, best practice guides, and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
- Contribute to departmental EOS objectives, including scorecards, rocks, and other quarterly and annual deliverables.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in SaaS implementation, healthcare IT, or hospital revenue cycle operations
- Working knowledge of hospital revenue cycle workflows including charge capture, coding, claims submission, denial management, and reimbursement
- Experience with hospital billing systems or revenue cycle platforms
- PMP certification or active pursuit of certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Wrike, Asana, or similar
- Exposure to data reporting tools or basic SQL is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders
- Analytical thinking and structured problem solving
- Self-directed with the ability to take initiative and drive tasks to completion
- Ability to collaborate across teams in dynamic client environments
