Matt Grochmal serves as Manager, Software Development at PMMC, where he leads teams responsible for designing, developing, and modernizing the company’s software solutions. Combining a strong technical foundation with a forward-thinking leadership approach, Matt focuses on building scalable applications, improving development processes, and delivering innovative solutions that create value for clients. He plays a key role in advancing PMMC’s technology strategy and AI-enabled solutions.
Over nearly a decade in software development, Matt has evolved from an individual contributor into a technology leader focused on helping teams work more efficiently and deliver high-quality solutions. At PMMC, he’s been instrumental in driving initiatives to innovate the company’s application suite, improve development workflows, and strengthen collaboration across departments. In recognition of his leadership and impact, Matt was named PMMC’s Star Performer in 2025. He is also helping lead the development of PMMC’s next-generation applications and infrastructure, positioning the organization for continued growth.
Matt earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Engineering from North Carolina State University and holds several professional certifications, including PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Professional Scrum Master I, and Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900). Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, following and playing sports, gardening, and spending time outdoors. He is also an active participant in the Vistage Advancing Leaders program.
